AN ANXIOUS IMAGINATION
2008

‘An anxious imagination’ isn’t merely one solution to a given problem, it was a process that explored the potential for identifying and challenging complexed issues, providing new ways of thinking about social needs in a more creative way. ‘An anxious Imagination’ was an explorative project that asked the question: ‘To what extent can conceptual design, and a creative design
approach have a positive effect on the complex health issue of phobia anxiety?’

The project put equal emphasis on the final product and of actively engaging and integrating participants in to the process. The results are objects that
target Elizabeth’s psychological association towards her fear. By actually giving her fear presence instead of removing it became her means of coping.
